Returns Policy

  • Please email us that you are returning a part.
  • RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITH OUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
  • The parts and accessories listed in our catalog are brand new, genuine OEM (original equipment manufacturer) items. These are exactly the same parts as found in a new GM vehicle. As our parts are sourced from the manufacturer, strict return procedures are imposed upon us when processing returns.
  • Please keep in mind that if no VIN is provided the service team can not verify the part number, and the part is not returnable.
  • A copy of the invoice must be included with the return.
  • There is a 25%-35% restocking fee charged against all returned stocking parts.
  • If the part was special ordered from the manufacturer a return fee of 35% will apply.
  • Shipping charges will not be refunded on returned parts, as the shipping is a service rendered and cannot be refunded.
  • Refused freight will have the shipping charges deducted from your refunded amount.
  • Parts must be resalable and in the original packaging with all GM labels intact. 
  • DO NOT WRITE ON, REMOVE, OR COVER ANY GM LABELS. DO NOT WRITE ON THE BOX.
  • Please use proper packing materials and boxes to help protect goods.
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility; we do not pay for return postage or provide shipping labels.
  • We cannot take back used parts.
  • We cannot take back installed or tried parts.
  • Electrical parts are not returnable/refundable. Some electrical parts (modules, window switches, etc.) require programming to function properly after installation, please try that before assuming the part is defective.
  • Discrepancies in the order should be reported within 10 days of receipt. 
  • Parts are not eligible for return after 30 days from purchase.
  • Email us the tracking number of the return once it is shipped (Do not use non-traceable carrier).
  • Please allow 7-14 days for us to process your return after receipt.
  • We do reserve the right to refuse and return (at sender's expense) any parts we find have been installed, are used or do not meet the above criteria.
  • If there is an error on our part (example: part pulled wrong, etc.), then we first apologize for the inconvenience and will gladly correct the mistake. 



Cancellation Policy

  • Special order parts (parts not stocked at our facility) may be canceled up until 1:00 pm EST on the day of your order, after 1:00 pm EST the order has been processed with General Motors and cannot be stopped.
  • Parts stocked at our facility may be canceled up until the time of shipment and no longer in our possession.
  • If the cancelled part was special ordered from the manufacturer a return fee of 35% will apply.

Core Returns

A core deposit is a refundable deposit by GM Parts to assure the return of rebuildable units. When a core deposit is listed, this core price is included in GM Parts Center’s total amount, the core is eligible for a full refund upon the return of the exchange part.

  • Include a copy of the invoice with your return.
  • Cores must be returned in the original packaging that they were shipped in.
  • All core labels and GM part number labels must remain on box and not be damaged or unreadable.
  • Cost of shipping for core returns is the responsibility of the customer, and are not refundable.
  • Core Returns will be inspected once received.  If the core has physical damage,  or is an aftermarket item then credit may not be issued.
  • All fluids must be drained from the core.
  • We are not responsible for lost returns by the shipping carrier.
